My sister got married this week! We all went to San Francisco. All of us. 4 children controlled by 2 very very tired adults. No one died! I did take a ton of iPhone photos, so this week’s post is going to have extra California photos!
Sunday:
My little pirates
Pirate attack on the docks!
Baby wrap on theme A+++
Monday:
Sleeping with all his favorites
Linc loves his brother
He thinks he’s people
MORE OF THIS
Tuesday:
Matchy!
The biggest baby needed some snuggles
All day, every day, basically
Wednesday:
Living his best life
Fixing my roots
LOVES his new stroller
bebeh fingers
Thursday:
Giving them the full airport experience
I took this picture like 75 times
Really optimistic before the flight started
Goodbye Boston!
World’s best plane infant
Hello mountains!
Babywearing was a lifesaver the whole weekend
The tram was much shorter and just as exciting as the plane
CAN’T RUN IN THE STREET NOW, TODDLER
Friday:
Hellooooooo San Francisco!
CAN’T THROW YOURSELF OFF A CLIFF EITHER, TODDLER
Redwood tree!
Wear all the babies
I need to move to California
The view from the wedding
Wearing a romper, holding a baby, in the fanciest house
Saturday:
Perfect breakfast for a maid of honor
Super classy flowers
This is the groom’s parent’s house
A groomsman delivered (more) champagne. Excellent service.
This is their Vogue look
I looked out the window and they had turned over the ceremony into the reception
Still the groom’s parent’s house
There were flowers in almost every beverage
All those glasses – including the pickled veggies – are mine
It was all so beautiful
Seriously obsessed with this space
You know the bride is low-key when she’ll hold a toddler AND red wine
Winning in so many ways
I was SO EXCITED they had floating pool lights
Finn was a champ the whole wedding day
I will never attend a wedding fancier or more well executed than this one. It was so beautiful. And now I need to go crash as hard as I can because real life starts again tomorrow and I still have a newborn who never sleeps more than 3 hours in a row.

Hello. It is summer.
Sunday:
Morning lap naps because we have no where to be
Sports!
She’s very good at selfies
Monday:
Our Mystic day started at the aquarium
Then I tied my baby to a chair to eat grilled cheese…
Then Caroline decorated a whale at the seaport
Tuesday:
I’M A BIG KID
LOOK AT ME BEING BIG
Being a big kid is exhausting
Wednesday:
That whale is definitely trying to eat her
Caroline thinks sitting is boring
LINC THINKS SITTING IS VERY EXCITING
Thursday:
Bed stealer
Perfect
One Caroline to push 3 babies. She’s got it.
Friday:
So grown
Evan is doing is presentation about Seaport Camp and explaining his picture looks like that because he “only works in black and sometimes very very dark gray”.
Babies do not have good table manners
Saturday (Happy Fourth!!):
The Mayflower!! Linc is unimpressed because he knows it’s a replica.
Matching dresses are awesome
We stayed up waaaaaaay too late
And on that note, I am going to bed. The weekend was fun but exhausting and NO ONE has taken a real nap in more than a week. I need at least 6 hours of sleep in a row if I have any chance of functioning this week. Good night!

The themes of this week are: Front Porch and Sleeping Baby. Those are sometimes related but not always. I’ve leveled up in babywearing this week too, with MULTIPLE back wrap naps.
Sunday:
Cream Cheese Face
The same cheese face, but with less cheese
I don’t know why he looks surprised, we were at Target
Monday:
Unimpressed at the grocery store
Helping me watch for the bus
My new favorite ridiculous pants
Tuesday:
I got your nose! No wait I don’t WHAT IS THIS THING IN THE WAY??
Still unimpressed, but awake
The dog he is very impressed with
Wednesday:
Christmas jams 4 EVER
This was an entirely unneccesary elevator ride
He did that to himself
Thursday:
Waiting room zombies
Linc was sleeping so we hung out in the car while Caroline had soccer. I felt like a bum but SLEEPING BABY.
Her cheeseburger’s so bright, she’s gotta wear shades
Friday:
Chatting with mom friends on the porch is boring for babies
He was showing her the school because she’ll go there next year too
The coolness of the sleeping baby is ruined by the arm in the sunglass reflection
Saturday:
Linc is not the step-and-repeat expert Caroline is yet.
This is not a very good picture but I love it so, so much. They’re closing the FAO Schwarz in New York and I’m so excited the kids got to visit.
New York wore him OUT
I have a severe case of the End Of Year Moms and almost no motivation to do anything besides take the kids fun places and drink iced coffees. I’m fighting hard to make it to June before I start letting the kids skip to go to the beach just because it’s too hot to sit on the couch with a baby on me. We have a lot of summer fun planned and I’m afraid we won’t have time for all the un-planned fun as well. This past weekend in NYC was a good start but we have a LOT more to do.

There was a lot of babywearing this week because the weather was bad and we didn’t go many places.
AND THEY JUST CANCELED SCHOOL FOR TOMORROW. Is it spring yet?
Sunday:
My first baby whose head isn’t the least bit flat
All natural teether
GO PATRIOTS
Monday:
Brotherly love
Superbowl hangover
Still loves the neck floaty
Tuesday:
How’s my hair?
2.5 hours like this, while I did ALL the laundry
Good dog Brutus
Wednesday:
Spirit week: Wacky Day
Baby’s First Button Down
Is it clear yet that a) I love back carries and b) I REALLY need a good anti-aging moisturizer?
Thursday:
When you have this much snow, you have to actually REMOVE it, not just plow it.
Spirit Week: Storybook Character Day
My Lego Star Wars game brings all the boys to the yard
Friday:
Spirit Week: Fancy Day
MomFest Rainbow Playdate
OBSESSED
Saturday:
This one is my new favorite
My eyes do that exact same uneven thing
How he is managing to sleep like that I have NO idea
We taught someone else Hand & Foot so now we can play ALL THE TIME.
I am going to finish this, publish it, feed the baby and then go to the grocery store at 9 pm because that sounds way better than going with all 3 kids in the snow tomorrow. Uggggggghhhhhhhhh. Seriously, can it be May now?

I am tiiiiiiired. I don’t even have a good excuse beyond doing lots of stuff this week – my darling darling baby slept 10 hours last night. But this weekend was busy and this next week is going to be super busy. I feel like a broken record, because all I post anymore is complaints about how BUSY I am and I know it’s boring. But really, once you have three kids you’re pretty much always busy. Even the baby thinks I should try to sit on the couch more – he’s really tired of being nursed in uncomfortable chairs.
Sunday:
Sleepy stars and stripes
Obviously when you see a pile of leaves you throw them
What does the Caroline say?
Monday:
A very patriotic wrap for a patriotic day
Grocery shopping with 3 kids is not my favorite
A beautiful night to go visit a submarine
Tuesday:
Snuggly errands
Why do my eyebrows only look this good for the 10 minutes after I have them waxed?
I’m in love with this picture
Wednesday:
Baby Dr. Evil
I’ve re-purposed the stuff I knit for Evan, since no one knits for baby #3
Ignore my face and loooook at that pretty orange!
Thursday:
SMILEY
See, I swear, I buy the wraps FOR HIM. HE LIKES THEM.
I wouldn’t let a kid that close to my computer with a marker, but Daddy is nicer than me.
Friday:
We bought this car when I was pregnant with Caroline. It had 16000 miles on it.
THE MOST unflattering photo of myself I’ve ever voluntarily posted, but his face is too good to pass up. WTF IS ON YOUR HEAD, MOM?
New hairs are nice.
Saturday:
Stealth photo of my husband in uniform during the comissioning ceremony.
WHY AM I STILL AWAKE AT A PARTY AT 9 PM?
Yeah, I ate that.
I am once again shocked at how many photos of my own face are in this post. I’m not a selfie person. Or at least, I didn’t think I was a selfie person. But that might have had something to do with being hugely pregnant for what felt like the last decade. It was also SO NICE to get my hair cut (even if I had to bring the baby) that I’m going back in 5 weeks to refresh my color. I have nice hair when I take care of it, and since right now I feel old and fat, I need to work on what makes me feel good. Maybe in a couple weeks I’ll do something REALLY crazy, like schedule a facial or a massage.
Oh who am I kidding, if I had money for a massage I’d just spend it on another wrap. I cannot stop drinking the babywearing Koolaid.
