Hi. I’m pregnant.I had a baby on April 5th, 2009. Aaaaaaaand now I’m pregnant again, due December 26th. Now I have another baby, born December 19th, 2010. If it’s a boy we’re considering calling him Jesus. No just kidding. We’re going with Santa. Luckily it was a girl, so we named her Caroline Noelle. My goal is to NOT have a baby in 2011 (Done!) but I’m not making any promises. I DID have a baby in July 2014 though, his name is Lincoln Scott. I use the strikeout function WAY too much and I really need to update this page more.

I’m also a reader, gardener, dancer, tv-watcher, wife, writer, daughter, interior decorator, photographer, dog walker, cat lover, shoe buyer, sister, knitter, Scrabble player, and baker.

So far, I think I’m balancing everything pretty well, but I could just be kidding myself.

Things I support: moms, wine, cheese, terrible pop music, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby-wearing, freedom of choice, shopping locally.

Things I do not support: mean girls, jet skis, hate, fat-free chips,  bashing other people’s parenting, Sarah Palin.

A little more, for those who are curious:
I am soon-to-be 33 years old, married to my husband E since August 2004. We met while I was at college getting my degree in underwater basket weaving communications at the College of Charleston in South Carolina and he was going through training to run nuclear reactors for the Navy. No, he does not glow in the dark. After a couple of transfers we ended up in Eastern Connecticut where we got a dog, a Jeep Cherokee and a house. Once we ran out of grown-up things to buy we decided it was about time to work on the bebehs. Now we share our 100-year old Craftsman house with Evan, Caroline and Lincoln; our dog Brutus; our cat, Blushes; about a million baby toys and several pounds of pet hair. I’m giving the SAHM thing a try – part desire, part necessity – and I use this blog as my own personal soapbox and brag book. In the fall of 2013 I launched my photography business, Ginger Snaps Pictures and now I work part time (although it feels like full time in the fall!) as a photographer.

Please send me an email or join in the comments if you have something to say!

Camera info (since I often look for this on other people’s sites):
Until November 2012 I shot with a Nikon D90, upgraded to a Nikon D7000 in December 2012, switched to full frame in 2014 (first on a D600 now on a D610). My next upgrade will be an actual professional camera but I don’t expect that will happen for another 10 years.
Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 SLD DG Macro Lens
Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX

I own none of those anymore. Now I shoot mostly with my
Sigma ART 35mm f/1.4
Tamron 24-75mm f/2.8
Sigma 50mm f/1.4
Tokina 100mm macro f/2.8

I buy 90% of my camera equipment through Adorama, who I love and recommend. I wrote a post in 2015 about all my equipment, which you can check out here.

If you’re a company or small business who is interested in sending me stuff to review or give my readers please feel free to email me at bebehblog@gmail.com. My favorite color is pink, but I look best in blue. My very own special addictions are cute kid clothes, baby carriers and camera equipment.

I use affiliate links through CJ.com sometimes, so if you click through my site and buy something I might get some pennies for your purchase.
