My Week(202) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, September 14th, 2014

There is a lot of my face in this post, which is weird. I am not a selfie person, but when all you do is hold or nurse a baby there isn’t that much else to take pictures of.

Even the litter in Mystic is classier than regular litter.

Caroline does not look nearly terrified enough

I am already done with this week and it’s only Sunday night. I haven’t felt this tired since the night I didn’t get any sleep because I was giving birth. And even then my back didn’t hurt so much thanks to the epidural. I plan to be in bed by 8 as many times this week as I can.

My Week(160) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, November 24th, 2013

Caroline talked me into rented one of the Barbie animated movies – something about magic pink horses? – and it was just about as awful as you can imagine. I would rather watch one million episodes of My Little Pony than anything Barbie-themed ever again.

Maybe the highlight of the week.

“Mommy I’m going to do my pose and Caroline is going to do her pose and you take a picture, OK?”

Processed with VSCOcam

If I could go back in time and start househunting again in CT, I wouldn’t even consider anywhere but Mystic.

I can’t believe this week is Thanksgiving already, especially because right after Thanksgiving it’s December. I’m not ready for December. I need way more than 2 week to finish getting ready for Caroline’s birthday party…and WAY WAY more than 2 weeks after that before Christmas. I am not prepared. AT ALLLLLLL.

My Week(125) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, March 23rd, 2013

I’ve basically given up on parenting until the weather gets better, so the fact that I took ANY pictures this week that aren’t just of us staring at the television is impressive. We’re supposed to get more snow at the beginning of next week but it might be 50 on Friday, at which point I will start wearing shorts and flip flops.

Sunday:

sunday1

Private bowling alley is awesome

sunday2

Why am I always tempted to steal the bowling shoes?

sunday3

Bowling wears out toddlers

Monday:

monday1

Hot dogs for breakfast. Not worth an argument.

monday2

monday3

Editing photos from the bowling party – turns out my camera does NOT know what to do under a blacklight. It pretty much totally freaked out. Thank goodness I shoot RAW and could fix them!

Super excited by an emergency bathroom/Powerball ticket stop at a gas station

This weekend starts a few really busy weeks in our future. It will be mid-April before any of us get a day to relax again, but it’s all FUN stuff so I’m looking forward to most of it. The highlights are a fancy brunch at a fancy restaurant for Easter, Evan’s birthday party and a fancy dress ball I’m being forced (FORCED I TELL YOU!) to attend with E.  I’m hoping to get back to regular family/life/everyday blogging too, but it’s hard when I’m trying to stay on top of  family life every day. See what I did there?

My Week(85) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, June 16th, 2012

This week’s photos are a little Caroline heavy, but since Evan refuses to hold still long enough for me to take his picture anymore it’s his own fault if someday he looks back at the blog and wonders if I loved his sister more. Not MORE, honey. She’s just EASIER.

Sunday:

“Watering” the flowers. Poor Caroline is already mad she can’t pee standing up.

NO NAP, MOMMY. I’M NOT TIRED.

That’s the face I make when I watch Mythbusters too.

Monday:

Wonder baby on her Wonder Pony.

Whee! Really high!!

Bubbles bubbles bubbles bubbles bubbles

Tuesday:

Fell asleep at 7 am on Daddy’s iPhone

Peek a boo!

SLIIIIIIIIIDE!

Wednesday:

What do you mean I’m doing it wrong?

She ate almost this entire container in the car on the way home.

TORTURE! TORTURE! SOMEONE CALL CPS!

Thursday:

Sup?

I’ve got a plan! And what’s the plan? JAM!

Ughhhhhhhhh THIS is why every town in Connecticut has their own stuff. The highways suck.

Friday:

Feeding the ducks, adorably.

Cherry berry chiller. WELL DONE McDonald’s.

Who says I need a nap?

Saturday:

SUPER HAPPY GOOD FUN TIMES down at waterfront park

Amistad! (Missing a mast, since it wouldn’t fit under the river on the bridge)

This is the only mobile bell casting company in the country! I got a piece of the mold they used to cast the bell!

And THEN we spent the afternoon hanging out at a friend’s super swanky marina pool and grilling on their sailboat. I have a pretty impressive sunburn. My kids are totally passed out. Tomorrow for Father’s Day I’m making pancakes and bacon and then mowing the lawn while my husband takes a nap. I’ll wear sunscreen.

Did you take any camera phone photos this week? Link up with one or lots using the linky below and grab the code (so it shows on your blog too!) over at Amy’s . It’s really fun!
