My Week(5) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, November 21st, 2010

Monday:

We started the week our favorite way

We even made it to (outside) Stroller Strides at Ft. Shantok Park

It was nice enough for some good quality swinging too

Tuesday:

I saw this. I bought this. It was disappointing. I need some regular egg nog.

Wednesday:

I got an amazing box in the mail. My friend Jen (from high school!) made me these for Baby Sandy. Are they adorable or what?!

Thursday:

We went to Stroller Strides (again!) and after class Baby Evan played on the Richard Scarry ride. He is skeptical of Lowly Worm.

My new (non-deffective) rocker came in at Babies R Us. Little Evan thought we also needed a new exersaucer.

Friday:

My BFF Erin came up with her son and I practiced pushing two around the grocery store. For the record, this cart SUCKS.

And then we left the babies (with E) to go pick up wine at our local vineyard. Sadly, all the wine was for my friends and not me.

Hey look! Amy from A Good Life was nice enough to make the linky code for me, so now it’s a hop! That means if you put this code in your post (on the HTML page) everyone’s links show up for everyone so it’s easy to check them all out. Please link up if you did a week in iPhone (or camera phone or whatever) photos! (p.s. I am shockingly internet clueless, so you might have to actually go over to Amy’s to get the code. I…don’t really know. Am not smart.)

My Week(4) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, November 14th, 2010

Do you like these posts? I do. Several other bloggers have started doing camera phone photo wrap-ups, so if someone can set up one of those reciprocal linky things (the kind that shows up on everyone’s blog) we could make it a weekly link up? Or not, since there are about forty zillion internet memes already out there.

Sunday:

I started my week off with a new knitting project - coffee coozies for my Auburn fanatic friends

Monday:

We woke up to this! (Uh, maybe it's time to bring that stroller inside)

So Little Evan and I took advantage of the snow day to work on the new nursery

Tuesday:

Naked, diaperless baby chugs milk and signs "monkey"

I LOVE getting this spot at the grocery store. I figure 1 unborn baby + 1 toddler = DON'T EVEN TRY TO TELL ME I DON'T DESERVE TO PARK CLOSE TO THE DOOR

Wednesday:

Errand day! We bought shuuuuuz at Target to replace the one he lost

And we went to the post office to mail out FOUR different presents. I love our old post office - it's a full 2 stories inside with lots of carved wood and marble.

Thursday:

E used his day off to play horsey

And I used it to get ENORMOUS in the belleh

Friday:

I worked on baby shower crafts

And went out to dinner with my friend Joy for her birthday - this is half an avocado stuffed with lobster, crab and DELICIOUS

Saturday:

I woke up to this, the view from our new 3rd floor bedroom

Despite the fact that we're a hockey family, Little Evan is in LOVE with football. BuhBaaall!! BuhBaaall!! Duh-down!! (Touchdown!)

But he still supported his daddy at the iron man tournament

My Week(3) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, November 7th, 2010

This week’s picture brought to you by the letter “G” for “Good, Good dog, Brutus”

Sunday:

Little Evan took it easy while we finished up renovations

Monday:

There's no rule that you can't have pretty bedding even though the mattress is on plywood and the outlets are exposed.

Although I DO have a rule that requires pants when we leave the house. So we hung out at home.

Tuesday:

Evan LOVES his new chair (thanks to Baby Baby Lemon for the link!)

Then we went and did our patriotic duty...

...Although Evan wasn't so sure about my choices.

Wednesday:

We enjoyed the last of the fall colors on our way to Stroller Strides

And sorted through my bedroom junk drawer

And discovered that my belly button had "popped". It also goes "beep!" if you push it (or at least it does when Evan pushes it.)

Thursday:

We made some poor choices when it came to toddler appropriate toys (don't worry, I took them away before I let him run around).

And some wise choices when it came to dinner (Cheddar-jalapeno scones from Smitten Kitchen - thanks to Ernie Bufflo for the link!)

Friday:

We went to the pet store for MORE flea medication (damn things will NOT die) so Evan got to practice his tweeting

Saturday:

And to finish the week, Evan read Daddy's statistics texbook. Genuis Baby: I has one.

My Week(2) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, October 30th, 2010

Monday:

We started the week off happy!
And took our pretty new diaper bag to Stroller Strides (From the wonderful Hugs & Kisses Designs – come back Monday for a better look + a giveaway!!)

Tuesday:

Our new stroller came! Can you believe that turns into a double? Expect a LOT of pictures coming soon.

And I struggled to find my feet.

Wednesday:

Little Evan stopped making a mess long enough to practice his jumping, thanks to Super Why (I think? We don’t watch much kids tv)

Thursday:

And we made a VERY BIG NOISE with an air compressor

Friday:

E did a lot of painting (with a lot of help from Mom and Dad)(and very little help from me)

All that work made Evan tired, so he relaxed with Mormor (Grandma), his milk and his tape measure.

Saturday:

Dad and E wrestled a 6 foot mattress up a 4 foot stairwell, just to make sure we could actually FIT our bed in the new bedroom

And now we are all exhausted and paint-covered and going to eat an obscene amount of pizza to celebrate getting 80% of the work DONE (with 15% to do after dinner and 5% left for E and I to finish before the carpet guy comes Thursday.)

Hope you had a great week! You still have time to enter all the giveaways, but Day 1 closes Monday, Day 2 closes Tuesday, etc. so check it out SOON!

Hipstamatic

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

One of the things I like best about my iPhone (OH DIDN’T YOU KNOW? I GOT AN IPHONE. MAYBE I FORGOT TO MENTION IT.) is the camera/video recorder. I loving being able to take a photo and upload it to Twitter or Facebook without having to mess with the cord and the laptop and resizing. I think Mormor (Grandma in Swedish) also likes that feature, especially when it means she gets to see a picture of Baby Evan standing for the first time only two minutes after it happened. I’m gonna get his first steps on tape any day now, so expect some shaky, joyful scream filling footage sometime next week.

(Isn’t technology awesome? Think about how far we’ve come since we were kids, what with the film and the developing and postage stamps? I bet by the time Baby Evan has his own Baby Baby Evan he’ll just think “Hey Mom should see this” and whatever he’s looking at with be automatically transmitted directly into my brain. Um, actually that’s kind of creepy. Never mind. Let’s just stick with iPhones.)

ANYWAYS, one of the apps I have is Hipstamatic. I’ve had tons of fun with it this week. Here’s what it does:

Oooo Vintagey!

They baby chews the toy, I chew the baby.

Yo, sup yo? I'm chillaxin'.

Two wild and crazy guys!

Angelic

As if the sweatsuit wasn't already enough like 1970.

One more day, and I still haven't eaten the baby. Can I have a cookie?
