Totally unrelated? I’m so psyched to nominate you for Momversation! It’s a fun concept, the whole Momversation thing, but I feel like some of the bloggers who participate are just SO well-known that they aren’t relatable any more. And the lives that many of them lead, while super interesting, aren’t exactly your average mom-life.
Which isn’t to say that you are boring and average! Far from it. But you do provide a perspective that I don’t think that they represent. You’re sort of a second-generation mom-blogger. You’ve got great perspectives on stuff that I would have previously considered only for mommy-nazis. But because of your experiences and posts, attachment parenting, cloth diapering, baby-wearing? Seem like totally awesome and attainable things.
Who knew that a commenter I followed because she was hilarious and snarky on that one Gawker for Girls website those few years ago would turn into a seriously awesome mommyblogger? That seems like a fresh, new voice that Momversation doesn’t have yet to me.
Anyhoodle, I’ll shut up before I seem (even more)creepy, but I really do hope that they’ll consider you!
Good God, are you TRYING to kill me? I was already super hormonal today and now you go and leave what might be the nicest, most unexpected comment ever and I am hand-on-my-heart crying my eyes out. Thank you so so much for your kind words and for reading my silly little blog. xoxoxoxo time infinity.
I’m thinking maybe I found my Modern Bird picture. Because I am soooo buying one for Christmas if I don’t win any of the ten thousand contests I’ve entered.
oh man. no, you can cry. you’re pregnant, & these are your guys. there is really no reason this should make ME cry. but if i hadn’t looked away just in time, it may have done just that.
Bonjour! No I'm not French, it just sounded fancy. Sorry for the confusion. I'm Suzanne, a 37-year-old karate mom, cheer mom, photographer, Navy wife, blogger, baker, and amateur at pretty much everything else. The stars of the show are Evan, born 4/5/09, Caroline, born 12/19/2010 and Lincoln, born 7/23/2014. The last bebeh is Finnegan, born 8/30/2016 so he's a toddler now but don't talk to me about that. We live in Connecticut and enjoy it very much except for most of February and March. I love hearing from you so if you have questions, stories or ideas to share, email me at bebehblog@gmail.com .
