It’s still Wednesday, right? I feel like it’s been raining for a week (because it has been raining for a week) so when we got a break last night I dragged the kids all over Eastern CT to find a nice empty (but public) field for taking fall family photos. Success!
Respect my mad flower-crown making skillz.
I cut (butchered) Evan’s hair and he aged 10 years.
Looking at clouds. He said he saw a rhesus monkey wearing a powdered wig. For real.
WE LOVE YOU SEPTEMBER

When I put these on my computer I put them in a file called “End of Summer” but I withdraw my assessment. It’s going to be 80 for at least the next week, we will beach it up again.
p.s. It was pretty cold for a beach day, but the gingers do not care.

P.S. I changed some of the settings on my computer to try and get more accurate color and brightness calibration but until I get a real colorimeter my photos might look too bright/weird. I promise I’m fixing it!

I took some family photos for a friend last night. 456 photos. I’m only 1/8th of the way done editing, but I skipped ahead to the end, when her daughter copied my very bad example and waded right in. Would it be weird to frame a photo of someone else’s kid?
p.s. Literally the first time EVER I got the horizon straight in-camera.
