My Week(353) in iPhone Photos

Wednesday, August 16th, 2017

I AM SO READY TO HAVE CONSTRUCTION PEOPLE OUT OF MY HOUSE FOREVER. I swear to god, the number one advantage in DIY home improvement isn’t cost, it’s the fact that you can stop and use your kitchen to make a sandwich if you want without being in anyone’s way.

Sunday:

Someone made some poor choices

Really tired of gymnastics nursing

Monday:

Still asleep when it’s time to leave for camp

Book Barn adventures

Why do we even own toys?

Tuesday:

I swear I’ve taken this photo every week all summer

Watching for ugly fish

Littlest aquarium fan

Wednesday:

He refused to move until I took his picture

You can see through my walls

Thursday:

Playing in the water

Waiting for the bridge to go up

I took a picture so I could go buy an identical diverter and I still got the wrong one

Friday:

No stop don’t run away

I don’t know what’s behind me

Being an A+ big sister

Saturday:

Seussian shenanigans

Thing 1 and Thing 2

Super cool art and play space

I’m trying to pick a grey paint color again and it’s making me insane. Because why not spend three days agonizing over paint colors when the painting has to be done by Saturday?

My Week(350) in iPhone Photos

Friday, August 11th, 2017

I HAVE LIGHTS IN MY KITCHEN THAT WORK. They’re actually insanely bright, daylight bulbs and I want to just live in my kitchen now. I mean, except for the fact that it’s filthy and the walls aren’t finished. BUT, LIGHTS!

Sunday:

Mystic family time

Miniature figure heads

This puzzle is really hard

Monday:

Mommy, take my picture

Finn wanted a picture too

Shirts for the book themed birthday party!

Tuesday:

Rainy day seaport camp drop off

Wednesday:

Batman on a dog sled

Super into his ice cream

CLAM STRIP APPRECIATION CLUB MEETING

Thursday:

Basically my life in one photo

Climbing the rigging!

Friday:

“Moby Dik”, obviously

Out walking again

Saturday:

Hemming my husband’s uniform pants, like a good wife in 1950.

Nature center collection

Even more walking

I have one more week to get my life and house together before Linc and Finn’s birthday party. I can only do that once the sheetrock gets out of my dining room. Pray for me.

My Week(336) in iPhone Photos

Thursday, April 20th, 2017

I can’t believe I am still doing this, even after falling behind, even on weeks that are super boring, even though when I started I had ONE KID and was pregnant with Caroline. The blogger friend who inspired it hasn’t blogged in years. And yet I refuse to give it up – it’s like the longest baby book in the world.

Sunday:

Feeding baby goats is fun even if you’re a cool 8-year-old

Baby snuggles, front and back

We are SO GLAD it’s spring

Monday:

This is a good look

Selling some of my favorite baby wraps

Unicorn helmet is life

Tuesday:

This is why I usually wear him

So far, the Caffeine eye cream and the Niacinamide are fantastic

I’m being attacked by balloons

Wednesday:

Eight today!

Sup, frog?

Linc has to ALWAYS be touching someone

Thursday:

Rainy day walking

Super excited to be at the doctor, I guess

I don’t know what’s happening here

Friday:

Skillz

Everyone loves Bumpa

Oreo cake was requested, Oreo cake was purchased

Saturday:

Still 8, and I still can’t believe he’s so old

They made hand puppets out of the silverware sleeves

Bubble bath + tub jets = LOTS OF SUDS

We turned off the heat in the house, which means I’m putting away the winter coats but also wearing a sweater all day because it’s actually still pretty cold. But the trees and flowers and blooming and that means winter is OVER. I had forgotten how dirty children get when they’re out in the garden. I should buy stock in a bubble bath company.

My Week(324) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, January 28th, 2017

My wrist really hurts. I realize that’s not a super good reason to be almost 3 weeks behind in posting, but when you add “typing is painful” to “I could be napping right now” and “WHY ARE MY CHILDREN SO LOUD” it means blogging is really low on my to-do list.

Sunday:

I bought an actual nursing shirt that I don’t hate

PASSED OUT

Dinner helpers

Monday:

Skeptical baby is still very skeptical

Linc stole my phone to take pictures of his favorite thing

Tiny Batman

Tuesday:

Shopping

These were not good

Nope. Did not watch.

Wednesday:

Good morning ducks

In progress

When it’s almost 60 degrees we go for a walk

Thursday:

Evan brushing his sister’s hair before school

Sad baby is calmed by looking at himself on my phone

OH NO WHERE IS LINCOLN I CANT FIND HIM

Friday:

Being kind to kitty

Being kind to brother

Being kind to mama

Saturday:

Fish-tac-toe with the scuba divers

Bye! Have a good trip!

Super Linc is Super Sleepy

My baby just woke from a deep sleep screaming as if someone stabbed him with a needle, so I guess I won’t be a) catching up on the next post or b) taking that nap I wanted. Fingers crossed he doesn’t cry for the rest of the day.

Car shopping with three kids is the worst

I am 38 weeks pregnant and very, very miserable. I would like to just nap and/or float for the rest of the summer, but these kids keep insisting they need “food” and “clean clothes” and other nonsense. At least all our summer activities are done so we don’t actually HAVE to be anywhere and I can just take them to the lake and feed them bagels.
