So, Linc learned to scoot this week. More than lunging, more than wiggling, real one-knee up monkey scooting which makes him fully mobile. For good measure he can also pull up to his knees on the couch, chairs, the cat, the dog, and anything else he can reach. He’ll be on his feet within a month and probably walking by 9 months, just like his jerk brother and sister. WHAT GOOD IS WEARING HIM ALL THE TIME if it doesn’t slow him down at all!? I didn’t WANT him to be mobile!

She won’t stop stealing my heels
We were supposed to go out of town this weekend but our plans changed and we were left with two completely free days. We spent one doing literally nothing and one day having a family adventure. Both were nice but exhausting. I think having a 7 month old means I’m exhausted no matter what we do these days. I actually have dreams where I dream about being asleep.
In fact, I need to go to sleep right now so I can get 3 hours before Linc wakes up to eat. Being a mobile jerk baby takes a lot of energy.
