My Week(114) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, January 6th, 2013

This week was extremely eventful, but only because I got to see a movie in a theater. Happy Last New Year’s Eve I Will Probably Ever Spend Away From My Children Until They Are In High School!

Sunday:

She says she loves hot chocolate, so at least a little must end up in her mouth

Pretty but expensive (stupid weird roof line that’s impossible to insulate)

Aunt Carolyn read a lot of books while she was visiting

That’s called the “Godzilla Roll”. Deep-fried sushi.

Breakfast tastes like New Year’s Resolutions

wednesday2

Fake wood vegetables to fake cut with a fake knife = Caroline’s favorite thing

wednesday3

In my opinion, Christmas jammies are appropriate until Halloween

Thursday:

thursday1

I shouldn’t reward a 5:30 am wake-up with TV, but if I do I get to sleep on the couch for an extra hour, so….

thursday2

When she pouts and walks away like this you have to imagine the Charlie Brown music in the background

thursday3

Parenting workout

Friday:

Friday1

Reading at Stroller Strides

friday2

ABSOLUTELY NOT NO NEVER

friday3

Doll face

Saturday:

saturday1

This also buys me an extra hour of sleep

saturday2

Booty Mommy! My Booty!

saturday3

Grocery shopping with a list, a budget AND coupons. I’m pretty proud of myself.

I’m not going to lie, dropping Evan off at school on Thursday was the highlight of my week. But it was the highlight of his week too – he’s already asked to go to school three times today (it’s Sunday) and Caroline is begging to go back to the play place. Now that the holidays are over we start the loooooong cold trudge towards spring in New England. It’s the only part of the year I actually hate living in Connecticut, although I do still love the aquarium, seaport and two children’s museums that all have nice, warm, inside activities.

Did you take iPhone photos of your week? Link up with one or several below! Please consider joining, even if you haven’t done it before – it’s really fun!

Duck Duck Vacation

Monday, December 31st, 2012

We’re still on vacation, which means I’m light on the words and heavy on the lazily edited photos of my kids doing boring stuff. Luckily, my sister is here to do boring stuff with is.

Do I have something on my face?

Tonight the plan is for E and I to do something AWESOME, since it might be our last chance for a loooong time to spend a New Years out alone…but it seems more likely we’ll go out for sushi, get tired, and come home to drink a bottle of champagne on the couch while we watch the last episode of Downton Abbey. Happy New Year’s Eve!
