My Week(198) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, August 17th, 2014

Even if you have a pretty good baby, they still keep your hands busy a LOT. Which makes blogging and photo editing hard. I have literally a thousand photos to share but will be lucky if I get 10% of them edited and posted in the next 6 months.

I am really, really looking forward to school starting.

The weather this weekend has been GORGEOUS and I have enjoyed it…from my couch. After more than 5 weeks of house guests/traveling it is really nice to just sit down. Of course, it was really nice to have other people do all the cooking/cleaning/child minding too, but I have to get used to running the house and managing 3 kids at some point. So far they are all still alive. High fives!

My Week(196) in iPhone Photos

Linc just stopped moving (he’s still BREATHING, I checked, but he’s not wiggling) so I’m going to hope the 5th feeding in a row worked and he’s finally asleep. Fingers crossed he continues to be an A+ Would Birth Again Excellent Baby.

As a sidenote, I have another sponsored post tomorrow. I know that’s 2 in 2 weeks but I don’t have any more scheduled. It just feels like they’re close together because the only blogging I’m really doing right now is blogging I HAVE to do (I consider my iPhone Photo posts HAVE TOs, because I cannot possibly quit after 195 of them). There will be actual Deep Thoughts and a LOT more pictures soon. Just not now, because sleep.

We had a very nice Father’s Day (my husband just finished a rather large pitcher of mango margaritas) and I’m feeling much better. I have a couple of photo sessions this week that should be fun and easy and I have my fingers crossed I’ll get through the rest of this pregnancy problem-free. Technically I don’t HAVE to leave the house again until, like, September, so if I “waste” a few days lying on the couch while the kids watch Harry Potter movies we will all survive. Although like I said, the current plan is to beach it up as much as possible.

My Week(188) in iPhone Photos

Sunday, June 8th, 2014

Caroline has 1 more week of school and Evan has 2 more weeks. They are signed up for absolutely no summer activities, which might be a huge mistake on my part but for now I’m looking forward to it – we have enough memberships and passes to keep us busy on boring days and I really don’t want to be forced out of the house on the days where I’m too pregnant to do anything besides watch Harry Potter movies.

The whole weekend has been gorgeous, which means the house is trashed, the laundry is piling up and we’ll probably have ice cream for dinner again. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, so I’ll catch up then. Or maybe Caroline and I will go to the aquarium and I’ll just ignore the mess. That seems like more fun.

My Week(184) in iPhone Photos

Monday, May 12th, 2014

Late, so late, but Mother’s Day was spent planting and napping and today was spent at the lake enjoying our very first 80+ degree day of the year so I’m just patting myself on the back for getting it done and not decided 183 weeks straight is enough.

The sky after the wedding I photographed

The beautiful, sunny weather for the past couple days means I’ve been carrying my camera around again to take pictures, so they’ll be a bunch of those to post this week. Probably. Or they all might end up living on my hard drive indefinitely because I’m too busy sorting and then editing the 1000+ photos I took at that wedding. Luckily I can do all of that sitting down, since being 30 weeks pregnant plus carrying extra amniotic fluid means doing anything for more than about 30 minutes straight is uncomfortable. So hurt. Much huge. Wow.
