Ready for school! It’s been 65 here all week, so she refuses to wear a coat.

Saturday:
I did NOT buy this, even though I really really really really love it. I did end up buying a dresser. And a table. And a couch. And…another couch. It was an expensive weekend.

Project RECLAIM THIS DISASTER is underway. I’m so excited about it, especially now that it’s getting darker and colder and we’re going to be stuck inside more.
I had no photo sessions this weekend but I’m making up for it with 4 in the next 6 days and I’m crossing my fingers SO HARD that the weather stays nice. I’m hoping to get some of our personal photos sorted and (minorly) edited and shared too, since my family starts to get mad if there aren’t enough gingers on the blog. MOAR GINGERS SOON, I promise.

Two of the days this week were SO LAZY I barely took 3 pictures all day. Coming back to real life is hard.
Sunday:
It rained on our last day at the lake house, but luckily Mormor and Bumpa have cable.
Evan and his man bag are ready to go.

Monday:
This is my sister’s from France and it is AMAZING
Singing a song that goes “I am so cute! I am so cute!”. She made it up.

Tuesday:

Who knew a weekend at a kid’s birthday party could be a vacation?
I know I said LAST week that we were just going to relax at home and take it easy for a while…but then I realized Summer is REALLY SHORT and we are already running out of time to do all the things. We’ll be all over New England for the next week and the kids start summer school/camp the week after, so the frantic pace continues. It’s literally giving me stomach pains thinking about how little time we have left before it gets dark and cold again, so I’m fitting as much fun into these warm days as possible.

Our spring-like weather looks like it’s here to stay but since this is New England I’m not taking anything for granted. We’ll be repeating this week with extra locations (zoo, beach, etc etc etc) thrown in for the next two months. More baths + later bedtimes are going to cut into my blog-writing time, but I’m OK with that. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt to remember we can live our lives even if I don’t write about every second of it online.

What crazy week. Thank God the gingers had no idea how crappy it was in the real world and just enjoyed their spring break.
