My Week(211) in iPhone Photos

November 17th, 2014

Linc has two bottom teeth. If you’ve ever had a 3 month old with teeth you will know why it has taken me two days to finish this post. And also why my right nipple hurts so bad I wish I could just cut it off.

I have a new game for you, called “count how many times Suzanne wears the babies in this week’s post”. The prize is then you get to judge me for being crazy.

saturday2

OH THANKS HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON SEQUEL, I WANTED TO CRY MY EYES OUT

saturday3

Wraps make good blankies after rough days too.

And now I am going to go grit my teeth and nurse down the miserable baby AGAIN (and then give him some tylenol and gas drops and teething tablets and make sure his amber necklace is on and stand on one leg naked in the moonlight and ANYTHING ELSE that might help him with his sad mouth pain). Poor baby.

Wordless Wednesday: Last Days of Fall

November 12th, 2014

Some mom friends and I took the kids down to Bluff Point for a hike since we didn’t have school on Tuesday. 5 moms and 11 kids. When we got to the beach all the big kids went off on an adventure while the babies hung out on the sand and ate rocks. It was so nice to be out of the house in the fresh (warm) air ALL DAY…plus the gingers all slept amazingly well last night.

My Week(210) in iPhone Photos

November 10th, 2014

Late late late late late. But we spent ALL day Sunday out of the house and I spent all day today finishing all my photography stuff so I am completely caught up! Now maybe I can blog this week! Or maybe I’ll just say that and not do it again. That seems more likely.

saturday3

One last sleeping baby

I spent a LOT of time under that baby this week. Usually I try to get stuff done while I sleeps but I felt TERRIBLE for the first half of the week and was busy catching up and seeing friends the second half, so nothing got done. Thank God for antibiotics and Netflix. I cannot believe it is already the second week of November. I refuse to do anything Christmasy until after Thanksgiving, but now I’m worried I’ll wake up and it will suddenly be mid-December and I won’t even have noticed. Why is 2014 going so fast?!

How Does Your AeroGarden Grow?

November 6th, 2014

Thank you to Scotts and AeroGarden for sponsoring this post and giveaway!!

I got an email from my friends at MiracleGro asking if I might be interested in an AeroGarden for review. I ignored it.

Want to know what happened to my last houseplants? Dead.

Wondering how long my cute indoor herb planter lasted? Not even long enough to sprout.

Ask me how many tomatoes I got from my garden this year. NONE. (And yes, I did plant tomatoes.)

But they followed up. And it looked so cute. And after I explained “NO REALLY, IT HAS TO BE FOOLPROOF” they assured me it is. So far, they’re right.

My Week(209) in iPhone Photos

November 3rd, 2014

I’m going to go against popular opinion here and say I LOVE the extra hour we get with fall back. I was exhausted at 10 pm last night so I went to sleep, and then woke up on my own 15 minutes before the alarm. It felt positively leisurely. I have no idea if my children got an extra hour of sleep, because they know better than to come wake me up unless the house is on fire.

Sunday:

saturday2

I’m only sort of kidding.

saturday3

Although I still care of his favorite thing. Look at that baby smile.

The weekend was not at ALL relaxing due to a broken computer and a broken forehead, so I’m playing as much catch up as I can today. (Both are much better today, fingers crossed they stay that way.) I have zero photo shoots scheduled this week as of right now, but FIVE blog posts to write. Considering I can’t even get this one posted in a timely manner, it’s amazing anyone still reads. Maybe no one does. Maybe you’re all spambots. Or my mother. Hi Mom!
