My Week(9) in iPhone Photos

I would apologize for the ridiculous number of Caroline pictures, but I’m not actually even a little bit sorry. And I know you don’t really mind either.

Sunday:

First real snow of the winter! It was miserable - really cold with a wicked wind. We hid in the house for days.

Milk drunk baby

Monday:

Bebeh's first hair clip - sent by my internet friend Kim from Try It Mom!

Tuesday:

Yes my 1 week old IS wear Juicy Couture. My mom bought it at TJMaxx. It's meant to be ironic.

Wednesday:

Chair ON the couch. He's thinks he's the freaking king or something - no one may sit with their head higher than Little Evan or face the wrath of an angry toddler.

Working on arranging frames around my awesome Modern Bird piece. I don't think this layout works exactly right so they're not on the wall yet.

Thursday:

Hello Lover. My Christmas present to myself, thanks to a gift card from my uncle that covered most of the price. It is AMAZING.

Thumb print cookies I whipped up in practically SECONDS because the mixer is THAT AWESOME. I can't believe I've used the same crappy Hamilton Beach mixer since college and NO ONE told me how much it sucked.

Friday:

Traditional New Year's dinner: chinese food, shared with E, Mom & my BFF Erin who came down to visit

Twitter & champagne - official celebration of mommy bloggers everywhere!

This is my view for at least 5 or 6 hours a day. I don't mind at all.

Saturday:

We started to de-Christmas the house, but got bored and left it like this. Hey, at least the fire hazard - I mean tree - is down and out by the curb.

There was a LOT of this on Saturday. It's hard on everyone because he doesn't have enough words to tell us WHY he's so upset and we don't have an extra set of ear drums for when he pops ours with THE SCREAMING.

To try and avoid THE SCREAMING we took Little Evan to the still snowy-but-temps-in-the-upper-40's park. It was a mild success. Until he fell off the fire truck and we tried to help him. Or when we told him he had to go home. Sigh. Wasn't this not supposed to start until he was 2?

Link up below if you’ve got a weekly photo recap! These posts are really fun. And also easy, so if one of your resolutions is to update your blog more often it would be a great way to do that.

  1. Oh.Em.Geee! I got a pink mixer a couple of years ago for christmas! LOVE IT!!!!!!! You are going to love it. It’s my fave kitchen accessory! Love the packing away christmas photo… that’s about how our family room looked for days after christmas!

  2. I think MOAR CAROLINE is the new more cowbell. No worries about too many pictures. I see you buy your frames at target. I have a giant pile of the exact same frame for our bedroom wall. I think I bought them last April…

I second the MOAR CAROLINE=more cowbell.
      You just can’t get enough.

Also, you exploded my internets with the cute. EXPLODED. I don’t know how I am commenting right now. Because they are exploded and lying on the ground.

However, props to baby Evan for making me think my toddler is normal since other babies make that face too.

Oh the squealing. Why didn’t they tell us about the squealing?

  3. Molly says:

Girl, you show us as many pics of that little beauty as you want. I’m game.

Also? I would like one of those mixers please. Still using the sucky Hamilton Beach over here. Hmph.

  4. Kim says:

That is not even close to a ridiculous number of pics of Caroline! I’m living my baby girl dreams through you, so bring em on!
And JD is starting his 2s early too. Today it went something like this: “Please don’t throw that lamp even though I have a baby on my boob and will not really do anything about it for at least 10 minutes.”

  5. Cole says:

I live the chair on the couch – I need to get a chair so I can do that, too! Also, my Saturday was okay, but I spent most of Thursday screaming and crying like the world was ending.

  6. i just love your iphone photo updates. and your precious kids. and you.

    XO!

  7. Shari says:

Oh my, that second picture. Could it BE any more precious?

  8. I think he was sad cause he missed me. Or at least that’s what I’m going to choose to believe :)

  9. Ellen says:

Oh how I love a milkdrunk baby! She is just about the most adorable thing. Your little guy is pretty adorable too, what a sad little face. It must be so frustrating to be little and unable to communicate.

And I’m super jealous of the Kitchenaid. Hello gorgeous.

happy new year Suzanne! and E and little E and Caroline! I recognize that screaming toddler face…we have a very similar one here at least 3 times a day. Try putting it on a plane…we just got back from another eventful trip to NC!! At least our delay in Philly was compensated by the delicious Chick-Fil-A available at the airport.

I just read something about hanging groups of frames which I thought was a good suggestion: make a square/rectangle with all the outside edges and don’t worry about lining up the inside tops and bottoms. I don’t know if you have enough frames to do that but it looked pretty cool in the accompanying photo.
