I was going to do this an hour ago but then I decided to watch The Walking Dead and (no spoilers) now I don’t really feel like it. EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE.
Sunday:
Ok, sure, I GUESS you can bring that birthday party snack in the car
BEEP BEEP
Sunsets this week have been amazing
Monday:
He would sleep in a mountain of blankets
I let Evan walk to the end of the street to put something in the mailbox and he was really excited
Being a big kid
Tuesday:
A murder of crows, circling the bus stop.
He’s reaching for a leaf in my hand, he doesn’t actually know how to look at a camera
This is their new favorite game
Wednesday:
This was outside my house all day, and after a lot of peeking out the windows to see what happened I think the elderly man who rented the apartment in that house passed away. So not interesting, just super sad.
Bare feets
Being a scary ghost
Thursday:
View from Bluff Point
View from Avery Point
Very nicely sharing the Panera buzzer
Friday:
Toddler friends
It was VERY COLD by the ocean for my evening session
Even my husband got this right, and he doesn’t even care about my garden
Saturday:
The faerie village was amazing
Oh ok, go ahead and look 15
ORCHARD WEDDING YOU GUYS SO MANY PICTURES COMING SOON CONGRATS JACKIE I NEED TO STOP YELLING
I am seriously drowning in photography work, which is both good (yay money! yay doing a thing I love!) and bad (my house is a disaster! we have no food!). I have a dress I need to return – by mail! I don’t even have to go to the store! – and it’s been sitting on my table for a week because remembering to put it in a package is too much. I suppose I could stop planning any fun fall stuff for the family and JUST take care of my messy house and grocery shopping, but that doesn’t sound fun either.
Just a couple more weeks and then it will be way too cold for anyone to want photos…right?

Pretend today is Sunday instead of Monday and this isn’t super late. Except that if it was Sunday I wouldn’t be getting this nice 60 minutes of quiet to watch Dateline repeats and blog because my baby decided sleeping was stupid and we spent the whole day outside trying to wear him (and the big kids) out. So just forgive me for being late.
Sunday:
It’s a whole set for playing while moms take photos
We agreed that painting pumpkins was OK even though TECHNICALLY it wasn’t October yet
Someone was really sure he didn’t need a nap last Sunday too
Monday:
ONCE AGAIN, not sleeping during assigned sleeping times
Checklist for the next house: Climbing Tree
This is why Linc still has his own room
Tuesday:
rain OH SO YOU WERE TIRED? I’M SHOCKED.
Yesssssssssss
Real Life Babywearing: Toddler lies on the floor next to my $350 wrap
Wednesday:
They like the rain because they love umbrellas
At least the cat like the new rug
Their relationship summarized in one photo
Thursday:
I’m sort of trying to sell some wraps, but I hate selling wraps so I’m not doing a great job.
That face is because he wants to be in the pool with the big kids (swim lessons)
So, I did some stuff to my hair.
Friday:
Brutus crashed our playgroup
This color with his eyes = A++++
Someone seems to have left my snack smushed on the couch.
Saturday:
LOOK AT THAT BABY PRETENDING HE IS A BIG KID SILLY BABY
We found a Pinkberry
Sleep! That’s where I’m a protractor! (Most random kid’s meal toy ever.)
My computer just decided NOW would be an ideal time to start acting up, so I’m going to go bang my head against a wall and moan. Seems like the best use of my time. I would really like it if things could just be NORMAL and BORING and AVERAGE for the rest of the week. Boring sounds really nice right now.

Can you believe I’ve done this nonsense for 250 weeks? Caroline wasn’t even BORN when I did the first one. So I suppose I can’t even think about quitting, despite the fact that I can barely remember to do them. This one is late and I had to check my dates three times because it’s so hard to believe a week ago we were still on vacation. Real life happens SO FAST.
Sunday:
Evan is doubtful that 3 people in a one person kayak is wise.
Linc loves vacation
Caroline is ALWAYS ready for more pictures
Monday:
If you look hard enough, you can almost see New York down the river
I liked the reflection in the back of that tanker
Linc is happy to see all his stuff again
Tuesday:
Caroline is writing a song
Grumpy pants needed a walk to get ready for bed
I really, really love this front porch.
Wednesday:
The zoo was so fun.
I will never get tired of these photos.
I had three ladies tell me they liked my hair and none of them even notice I was nursing a baby.
Thursday:
Lunch at Quincy Market should always involve a lobster roll
Boston Children’s Museum
Linc was over Boston (and I was over my poor choice of shirt on a 90 degree day)
Friday:
SUPER COOL PRESS EVENT POST COMING SOON
I was really good at juggling, if my really good you mean terrible
Red Lantern at Foxwoods = ORDER ALL THE SUSHI
Saturday:
They must have bought those water bottles at Target. Poor confused children.
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaap
What? I’m hungry.
I forgot I had Virginia vacation photos to post, plus I have the post about our fun date at Foxwoods, so as long as I don’t die of heatstroke (we’re on day 5 or 6 of 90 degrees plus) I’ll have more new blog stuff up soon.

This week Lincoln turned 1 and I started freaking out because summer feels almost over.
Sunday:
Target is easier when you can tie one kid to your back and bribe the other two with Icees.
All the kids love the Boppy
Lake Baby
Monday:
Sunflowers for Wishes is beauitful
Caroline dressed up for our wagon ride
I made the mistake of asking them to take a nice picture.
Tuesday:
Party planning
We have a LOT of clicky things from Wendy’s kids’ meals now.
This might have been the last time he napped nicely.
Wednesday:
If you look closely you can see my baby playing with his new 7 year old BFF.
Baby’s first deli cheese
It turns out clean and shopping is pretty good exercise
Thursday:
OK, I’M ONE NOW, I’M GOING SWIMMING
Birthday’s are exhausting
Bumpa will read you alllllll the books
Friday:
The bones of The Australia at Mystic Seaport
Figureheads
Using my camera to check and see if Linc is asleep yet. NOPE.
Saturday:
I’m proud that all my party guests noticed my sling matched the decor
He had a really good day
He has sad eyes because he tried to eat the lit candle, but eating an entire mini-cake cheered him up.
Linc’s first birthday party is over and it was SUCH a success. We were completely done and ready for our guests before they arrived (this never happens) and I got to relax and drink champagne while the kids screamed their heads off on the bounce house. My parents and E’s parents were both here which meant we had TWO grown ups per child – not to mention all the dads that Linc conned into picking him up and carrying him around. He’s really good with dads.
We’ve got some vacation coming up and I cannot waaaaaait. But first I have to get all those party photos sorted and posted, or they’ll end up in the file with the rest of this month’s fun activities and no one will ever see them. What good is a cool party theme without a blog post?!

Sunday, July 5th, 2015
Hello. It is summer.
Sunday:
Morning lap naps because we have no where to be
Sports!
She’s very good at selfies
Monday:
Our Mystic day started at the aquarium
Then I tied my baby to a chair to eat grilled cheese…
Then Caroline decorated a whale at the seaport
Tuesday:
I’M A BIG KID
LOOK AT ME BEING BIG
Being a big kid is exhausting
Wednesday:
That whale is definitely trying to eat her
Caroline thinks sitting is boring
LINC THINKS SITTING IS VERY EXCITING
Thursday:
Bed stealer
Perfect
One Caroline to push 3 babies. She’s got it.
Friday:
So grown
Evan is doing is presentation about Seaport Camp and explaining his picture looks like that because he “only works in black and sometimes very very dark gray”.
Babies do not have good table manners
Saturday (Happy Fourth!!):
The Mayflower!! Linc is unimpressed because he knows it’s a replica.
Matching dresses are awesome
We stayed up waaaaaaay too late
And on that note, I am going to bed. The weekend was fun but exhausting and NO ONE has taken a real nap in more than a week. I need at least 6 hours of sleep in a row if I have any chance of functioning this week. Good night!
