Wordless Wed…wait, what day is it?
Wow, so that lithotripsy kicked my ass. The actual procedure was totally painless, thanks to a wonderful anesthesiologist who looked up every single drug for me and found one that would knock me out but was safe for breastfeeding, but when the doctor said I might be tired for a while he wasn’t joking. I was totally out of it all day yesterday, even without taking any painkillers. I was also nauseous and unable to eat and light headed and running a low-grade fever and generally just extremely miserable. BUT. The good news is I feel much better today and this should officially be the end of my kidney infections. Fingers crossed.
And now for something completely different.
Most of the time, Little Evan is the best most loving big brother ever. He’s so nice and gentle with Caroline it melts my heart every single time. But I think he’s finally realized she might be here to stay and it’s making him a little…upset.
Caroline: No biggie, I'm just sitting in this chair like a big girl.
Evan: Hey, that's my chair. I'm not sure I totally approve of this situation.

That is SO funny! You could use the Bumbo chair you had for e that you never really used. Glad you are feeling better, but take it easy, you are still in recovery…

So cute! I wanted to comment on your post comparing their baby pics. i can definitely see the differences, when you compare them side by side, but when you look at the two current pics of them, they so look like brother and sister, which i think is nice.

Oh my goodness! There is absolutely no denying they are siblings in those pictures. Hilarious pictures too, Evan is clearly not fond of baby sister stepping in on his territory.

I was totally Evan as a kid. Still am, kinda. My brother always gets the good chair. ;)
(PS. You can get the mulcher at the hardware or lawn and garden store. It looks like a leaf blower with a bag. You just suck the leaves up and it chops them up into little pieces. It’s pretty handy, but definitely more work than you’d think.)

The chair is from Amazon! I’m not sure of the brand but if you search “kid’s chair” it might still come up. He LOVES it and it was extremely reasonably priced – like less than $40. Babybabylemon had one and I wanted to be like her so I ordered one too. Emmie bee has the couch version!
