My Week(183) in iPhone Photos
I have almost totally completely recovered from the Mom 2.0 Summit in Atlanta this weekend. The combination of standing/walking/dancing/flying made me swell up like a bullfrog and I was worried I might have overdone it, but things seem to be getting back to normal. But definitely no more travel for me until I have an outside baby.

I’ll write an actual conference post later (that will probably be mostly photos, duh) but it was an amazing experience. I had literally zero negative interactions with people – even people I would consider Kind Of A Big Deal on the internets – and loved every conversation I had. Even though right now the logistics of going next year (not knowing where we might be stationed, having a 10 month old) are overwhelming I already bought a ticket.
Now I am back to real life where I am responsible for butt-wiping and laundry and a severe lack of fried green tomatoes. But cuddling with the ginger babies makes me super glad to be back to life (back to reality).

I’m jealous of your fun Atlanta trip but so glad you got a little “you” time before the next ginger arrives. I looked for you, Miranda, and Jill during the segment on “Today” (!!) about blogging but sadly didn’t see you.
I saw the segment and was like OMG THAT’S WHERE I WAS! I’m glad they didn’t accidentally put my four extra chins on TV but it was a great segment.
This has always looked like a really great conference. But I don’t know. I tend to get really stupid in a room full of fantastically talented people :/
I would love to see you and Jill and a host of other people again though. Has it really been three whole years???
I’m pretty sure a chocolate fountain is every woman’s dream, regardless of if pregnant.
And I’ve heard that conference is fun. :)
There is decidedly not enough Suzanne in my regular, real, flesh-and-blood life and I do not like it one bit.
Maybe I should get in on the conference thing. If for no other reason than the food…
Is it weird that I sang that last line?
And yes, I totally grew that there was not 1 bad interaction. I talked to every “big” blogger that I wanted to meet and they were more than gracious.
