Wordless Wednesday: New Light

We rearranged the first floor over the weekend, flipping the dining room with the family room and taking down all our baby gates. The new layout involves a lot more kid-chasing but it means we’re using our WHOLE HOUSE instead of just one corner. And gosh, the light in the yellow (former) dining room sure is pretty.

Girl. I am envious of your ginger babies and natural lighting.

So did it freak the kids out? Now you need to do another house tour post!

  3. Ugh. The baby gates coming down. Such a milestone. I still have regrets. I can’t even imagine with two to chase.

I think you’ll like it too. We actually ate dinner AT THE DINNER TABLE for the last couple nights and the kids love being able to run around.

Are you loving it? I totally would have done it too. With the fireplace and built in shelves. Oh now I want to come visit. And I want to buy your house. Not creepy or anything.

Thanks! That was the FIRST thing I painted when we bought the house and I’m amazed I still love the color just as much as the day I picked it.

I am scared of the day the baby gates come down. Fortunately, I pressed the snooze button on that by getting myself knocked up again.
