great idea! we used to do this when i was a kid…planning on doing it tonight w/ my 23 month old…i really enjoy your blog…seeing as how i’m 28 months pg w/ my second (and have an almost 2 yr. old)…it’s good to see what is coming up for me in a few months! ha!! and yes…the screaming – OH THE SCREAMING at EVERYTHING!!!!
What a good idea! Also? Those Ikea Bowls? Go ahead and stock up, and if you haven’t already, get the plates & cups (when he’s ready to graduate to a “big boy” cup they are pretty good for small hands). They are the best things ever.
I LOVE that high chair – It’s a Chicco – but we have no room for it in our kitchen so it lives in the dining room. And because we’re lazy we never eat in the dining room so we almost never use it. But it looked FANTASTIC for his 1st birthday cake-smashing pictures and these shots today. I should totally use it more often.
Food coloring and snow from the back yard. Easiest 90 minutes of silence EVER.
Isn’t the lens FUN?! It’s so perfect for close up shots and food, the two things my other lens really sucked at. And it does that bokeh thing all on it’s own!
We do something kind of similar … to give the girls (7yo and 2yo) something different to do. Keep them occupied for an hour or so.
Except we just give ’em a big bowl of snow and let ’em go to town. Eat it, make little snowmen with it, have a snowball fight in your room … whatever, just go play! lol
Bonjour! No I'm not French, it just sounded fancy. Sorry for the confusion. I'm Suzanne, a 37-year-old karate mom, cheer mom, photographer, Navy wife, blogger, baker, and amateur at pretty much everything else. The stars of the show are Evan, born 4/5/09, Caroline, born 12/19/2010 and Lincoln, born 7/23/2014. The last bebeh is Finnegan, born 8/30/2016 so he's a toddler now but don't talk to me about that. We live in Connecticut and enjoy it very much except for most of February and March. I love hearing from you so if you have questions, stories or ideas to share, email me at bebehblog@gmail.com .

So glad he enjoyed it. Sounds like you did too. We’re doing it again today!
