That’s Charlotte. She got hit by a boat and it cracked her shell so air gets trapped in her back and she has to float upside down. There’s a book about her called “Bubble Butt”.
You make me feel so bad for neglecting my memberships. I too love the sea lion picture but I think Caroline and the sharks is my favorite. She looks like she is plotting something. Sharks with lasers on their heads maybe?
Because I am an excellent mother who frequently enjoys reading blogs with her toddler, Spencer just asked me why the turtle was farting on the baby’s head.
Man I love aquariums. I wish ours was a little more like the National Aquarium and a little less like a very large super awesome fish store. Then Chris would be cool with a membership so I could go ALL THE TIME. I’ll have to settle for our zoo membership. Oh darn. ;)
The Mystic Aquarium is actually surprisingly small and REALLY expensive without a membership. Although really, I just like having memberships – I bought one to the zoo in Rhode Island even though I haven’t been yet. But it works at both zoos we might go to in Ohio (YOU HEARD ME) so I thought it was worth it.
Bonjour! No I'm not French, it just sounded fancy. Sorry for the confusion. I'm Suzanne, a 37-year-old karate mom, cheer mom, photographer, Navy wife, blogger, baker, and amateur at pretty much everything else. The stars of the show are Evan, born 4/5/09, Caroline, born 12/19/2010 and Lincoln, born 7/23/2014. The last bebeh is Finnegan, born 8/30/2016 so he's a toddler now but don't talk to me about that. We live in Connecticut and enjoy it very much except for most of February and March. I love hearing from you so if you have questions, stories or ideas to share, email me at bebehblog@gmail.com .

Great shot o f the sea lion…but what’s up (or down) with the sea turtle?

Oh, poor sea turtle…
You’re hilarious. I’m laughing at work, which is a no-no. Come by and say hi at drmomsie.com.
Love the photos! I think that turtle likes Caroline. I wonder if that’s the same Sea Lion as in our photo ;)

Oh dear, poor Charlotte!… and more unfortunate that someone gave her the title “Bubble Butt.”
I LOVE going to the aquarium. Great photos. Makes me look forward to my 3 month old getting older and taking him!
