Picture Post

Keep in mind I am still technically three days away from my third trimester. So although my belly can no longer be called “cute” or “small” I have a loooong way to go before I am full-sized. Thank God my boobs are growing at almost the same rate as my stomach.

img_1632 Oh hey, that shirt’s kind of see through! And my back fat has taken over the picture! Classy AND sexy!

Remember how E said a woman’s brain shrinks 20% during pregnancy because of SCIENCE?

I’ve been entertaining myself by putting the car seat in the stroller, adjusting the handle and seat tray, taking the infant support in and out, and practicing folding up the stroller with one hand. It sounds about as much fun as watching paint dry to you, but to me it’s like an evening of facinating conversation and fine wine.  20% is probably a conservative estimate.

    God, I love your floors.

You look great and the baby’s things are quite spiffy! I like the pop of color to the stroller. Is the color visible from the side too? All my friends had gray or navy, quite blah and I always thought it was a visual safety risk…but I am a little OCD on certain baby/child safety issues.

The stroller is a little less exciting from the side, but I love the red color. I have a matching red baby-carrier-backpack and registered for the matching umbrella stroller and travel high chair. People will definitely be able to see my baby coming!

So did you take the 20% comment so well when he said it originally?!!! The stroller and car-seat look awesome. No better time to practice than before the baby comes – it would suck to be trying to balance a baby and fight a stroller at the same time.

Mitch – NO I did not. And don’t you think you get to say things like that or in any way insinuate your own pregnant wife is stupid. We will both kick you.

Thanks for sticking up for me. I would threaten to kick him myself but I already do that, so the double threat is extra special :)

That stroller set looks like it rules! Also: Is that shirt by any chance from Old Navy? I was so excited when i found a bunch of maternity shirts (but of course, not pants) on sale in their 60% off this weekend. I bought a black t-shirt and put it on the other day, and realized you could tell I was wearing a pink bra. underneath a black shirt! Also since my only pair of maternity jeans come from ON and the elastic band that holds them up is already ripping, I refuse to buy any more ON maternity cloths! On sale or not!!!
