I swear to God this week went by so fast I barely remember the beginning half, but I have NO IDEA what we did. Thank goodness I take so many pictures.
Sunday:
We filled the bathtub with water in case our power went out. E laughed at me (and our power was only out for 3 hours) but the people who only got power back TODAY wish they had remembered to do it too!

This garden was calling my name. Except instead of sitting there relaxing I dragged a screaming 2-year old through the parking lot. Good times.
"Evan SAD", says Evan. "No shit", says Mama. It was that kind of day.
Friday:

Started Caroline's winter coat. BECAUSE IT IS FALL. IT IS, NO REALLY, IT IS. Well, ok, SOON.
Saturday:
Fancy hair! But I have no idea how I did it. also, it's held in place with a knitting needle.

Letting Caroline chew on my keys is super gross, but the screaming if you take them away is worse.
Who has two thumbs and is super excited about this three day weekend PLUS a vacation we have coming up? THIS GUY. There is a beach involved. And girlfriends. And before that we’re going to make the most of this summer weekend – I hope you’re prepared for a whole week of picture essays about ice cream and cows and babies frolicking in sun dresses.

So many comments, so I guess I’ll go in chronological order:
1) Grammy Boo & Coach didn’t get their power back until Friday, but they had water and they have a gas stove, so it was more of a nuisance than a real problem. Also, I want to know where you got that submarine bath toy holder so Mommy can get me one!
2) Ohmigosh, Mommy is going to turn around and I will be climbing that high *tomorrow* and she will die of a heart attack.
3) I hope Squishy will be half as cute as Caroline because that face in the strawberry outfit? Too adorable.
4) Mommy would like to know if you could make that coat in adult sizes – pretty!
5) FALL? Yay! Pumpkin spice lattes in a week!

Serious question – why fill the bathtub? I can’t make the connection between power being out, and bathtubs full of water.
If your power goes out for too long, you loose the ability to flush your toilets. You get maybe two flushes tops! So you use the water out of the tub to force flush. Especially if the city shouts off the water supply to prevent main breaks. You can also use it to wash dishes.
Suzanne, we filled up ALL of our tubs and sinks too, and Josh thought I was crazy.

That yoga pose, according to P90X yogaX is called the ‘happy baby.’
Thats what my yoga instructor tells me also! For me it is, “Oh my back feels so much better like this!”
Yay for fall! I got an iced cider at Dunkin Donuts yesterday, and even though I drank it on the beach, it still felt a little like fall.
And if Caroline was in the YogaX video, I would do it much more often!
