Wordless Wednesday: Caroline Loves Mystic Aquarium
My new camera does way, way better in low-light situations because it has insanely high ISO options. The pictures aren’t very sharp but at least they’re in focus (and easy to shoot while chasing Caroline around).
Caroline was CONVINCED that volunteer at the touch tank was Santa. She kept saying “Thank you Santa! Look Santa, sharks! Bye Santa!”
p.s. Vintage dress was mine, leggings from BabyLegs, boots are hand-me-downs.

I was complaining about toddlers being to fast to photograph and my aunt was all, “Does your camera have a sports mode? Use that.”
I haven’t tried it in low light yet but indoors with no flash and it is working amazingly. I can go back to shooting in manual for slower subjects.
Also, Caroline is adorby. And AND! If you ever come to Chicago, we have aquarium memberships!

My new camera assumes I am such a great photographer (HA!) that I don’t need all those special modes anymore so they took them off the dial. I think you can get to them in the menu but I haven’t figured that out yet either.
He does look like Santa! That dress is so cute!

Very cute! I bet you’re having fun with your new camera. I so wish we could go to the aquarium more but it is way too expensive here.

I love these pictures. I wish we’d taken the kids to the National Aquarium this trip. Maybe next time. Is it wrong that I kind of can’t wait for Ev to start Kindergarten in the fall so I can take Del and the new baby lump to the mall and stuff while he’s at school? It’s going to be such a different experience than taking two rowdy running around kiddos. :D
