From my dad, continuing the baby-naming site theme: http://www.behindthename.com/
From the lovely Sarible: Mom of Boys (skip the comments, I beg you)
And lastly, I plan to order my baby from this catalog. What do you mean they just sell the clothes?
Stacy – Either a short form of ANASTASIA, or else from a surname which was derived from Stace, a medieval form of EUSTACE. As a feminine name, it came into general use during the 1950s, though it had earlier been in use as a rare masculine name.
I will now admit, once and for all, that for most of my childhood I lied and said my name (Stacy) was just short for Anastasia. So much more regal!
Also, I can hardly even stand to look at the Hanna Anderson website, those children are beyond gorgeous! My little brother and sister spent most of the time between 0-36 months in those pilot hats. There is NOTHING cuter in the world. Literally, NOTHING.
