A language all his own

In the past two days Baby Evan has learned to talk. Unfortunately, it’s not in any language I can understand. He really seems to get a kick out of it though. Exhibit A – playtime:

Exhibit B – talking to his toys:

Exhibit C – remarking on the deliciousness of his hand:

Side note: I guess it’s time to start using the safety belt on that chair.*

*I’ve said this at least once a week for the last three months. I mean it this time.**

**No, really, I do.

Side note II: I really do have plenty of baby clothes, I swear. He’s just so much cuter and easier to clean when he’s naked.

Adorbs! And of course the hand is delicious, but what I want to nom is the THIGHS!

I started buckling Niko into his bouncy chair even though he was mostly content to just chill in it, and was really glad one day when I came back into the living room and he was leaning all the way forward, restrained only by the belt. If he hadn’t been wearing it, he would have totally faceplanted right on the hard wooden floor.

Your little guy is quite the conversationalist. He will be a hit at dinner parties!

Seriously – your child is now in danger of losing his thighs all together due to NOMNOMNOM impulses that will not be denied.

I like the part in the first video when it sounds like he’s explaining to his chair toys how to play nicely together.

He’s got some great projection going on there! Too cute! I wouldn’t put clothes on my kid if he or she had thighs like that anyway!
