Rainbow sprinkles = MIND BLOWN

Our spring-like weather looks like it’s here to stay but since this is New England I’m not taking anything for granted. We’ll be repeating this week with extra locations (zoo, beach, etc etc etc) thrown in for the next two months. More baths + later bedtimes are going to cut into my blog-writing time, but I’m OK with that. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt to remember we can live our lives even if I don’t write about every second of it online.

    Hat. :)

Also: do you say “sprinkles” or “jimmies” in CT? (guessing sprinkles?)
In MA we said jimmies and people in the Midwest look at me funny if I call it that, so I learned to say sprinkles instead, lol.

Sprinkles. Although it’s rare someone ELSE asks if I want sprinkles – most of the time I ask for them so I’ve never heard a native New Englander say it either way. Oh wait, the ice cream girl who gave Evan that cone asked if he wanted rainbow or chocolate sprinkles, but I have no proof she’s from Connecticut. This is a complicated question!

  2. Great pics, that sandwich looks amazing!

Spencer also had his mind blown by rainbow sprinkles this weekend. I guess I’d been remiss in his ice cream topping education.

The hat is amazing. I can’t believe she keeps it on so well. Also, Evan has the babiest face ever for a 4 year old. I always think he’s younger than Andrew because he looks so fresh and innocent, but they’re super close in age. He’s a lucky duck. Glad y’all are enjoying spring!

I love how you dress her!! Like a little girl! A lot of people these days dress their kids so growny, especially the girls. You can only do giant bows for so long people! And I got that Ahoy Matey shirt, love it!

I want to be your neighbor and go on awesome outings and eat delicious food and go to the yarn store and see Caroline in her hat.

But why would they lie about the cookies?
