My Week(189) in iPhone Photos

Fun! Kidney stones! More fun! This week went by super fast, despite the break in the middle for allllllll the painkillers. It was the last full week of school too – Evan only has a few more days and then we’re all going to go work on our tans erry day.

Thursday:

thursday2

There may have been a sliiiiight lack of supervision while I was in the hospital.

Friday:

friday2

She made a nest and passed out

friday3

Everyone wants to sit on Daddy

Saturday:

saturday1

Who let this kid get so TALL? (Also pretend he’s not wearing the same clothes as yesterday. It’s another fight I’m not having.)

saturday2

MORE couch naps. I have no idea what wore her out.

saturday3

Evening walk to play with sparklers

We had a very nice Father’s Day (my husband just finished a rather large pitcher of mango margaritas) and I’m feeling much better. I have a couple of photo sessions this week that should be fun and easy and I have my fingers crossed I’ll get through the rest of this pregnancy problem-free. Technically I don’t HAVE to leave the house again until, like, September, so if I “waste” a few days lying on the couch while the kids watch Harry Potter movies we will all survive. Although like I said, the current plan is to beach it up as much as possible.

I don’t fight the not clothes changing either. Is this a phase? I hope so. Sometimes I check instagram before I post something to make sure Spencer isn’t in the same shirt as the day before. He will change out of wet clothes so sometimes I send him in the sprinklers to force a change.

It started with letting Evan sleep his play clothes, which he was only wearing half the day after he changed out of his uniform so WHATEVER. But now it’s turned into NEVER wanting to change, including when he’s covered in popcicle and visible dirt. It must be a phase. I’m not fighting him unless he starts refusing to bathe too.

Haha, my kid is wearing his Santa jammies in bed tonight, too. Totally okay!

How she sleeps in a non-air conditioned room under three blankets while wearing fleece footie jams in JUNE is beyond me, but she does it.
