Today I am thankful for photographs (even the ones that live in my computer instead of on my walls) so I can remember weekends like this one.
And YOU can be either a) thankful for something to look at on the internet besides funny misspelled kitten pictures b) thankful for the “x” in the upper right hand corner so you can skip a zillion pictures from our weekend and go look at funny misspelled kitten pictures instead. Here, let me help you.

Your tree looks beautiful! I love the decorating picture with its lights reflecting in the window :)
I was sort of mad we didn’t get it up before dark, but the reflection was so pretty I couldn’t stay mad.
I love your weekend! Your tree looks great. Colored lights are the best :)
You know? I thought about going out and getting a real tree this year. But I’m what I like to call “holiday-lazy.” Oh, what’s that you say? I’m just plain lazy? Sorry, I forgot.
I can’t believe C can walk like a big girl and everything!
we have white lights on our tree in the playroom… which used to be our only tree (and most definitely where santa will visit this year). however, after seeing your colored lights, i think we’ll be getting another tree for downstairs and don it with colored lights! love these photos!
We VERY STRONGLY believe in colored lights on the tree and white lights outside. I wrote a whole post about it last year. This year we also have white lights inside, since I’m decorating for Caroline’s birthday.
I’m so distracted by the fact you wore white pants to a tree farm. That’s really brave. I don’t even own white pants. How are they so clean? I think the pictures were staged and you secretly have mad photoshop skillz.
Ha! They’re not quite white and they are at least 5 years old – I was so excited they fit I wore them even though it was a poor choice. There’s a reason there aren’t any picture of me from later in the day.
LOVE the tree photos! We are going to put up a tree this year, hoping to pick it out this weekend. How do you keep the toddler and baby out of the tree?
We keep it in the living room, which is separated from the family room with a gate. I have no idea how to keep them out of a tree they can reach all day.
Great pics! Love the “side eye”!
You have two redheads! I’m jealous! I have red hair, two babies, and no redheads. I love the picture of them decorating the tree together.
Scrolled down to look at this post, and Amelia (who is sitting in my lap watching and eating dried cranberries) pointed at the first picture of Caroline, and said “She growed up!” Don’t cry. :) We miss you guys.
