Sunday, October 20th, 2013

This week is basically just photos of all the places I’m going to take photos. Plus Caroline.

Editing editing editing…I really loved this session!

I did NOT buy this, even though I really really really really love it. I did end up buying a dresser. And a table. And a couch. And…another couch. It was an expensive weekend.

I love you, soda machine.

Project RECLAIM THIS DISASTER is underway. I’m so excited about it, especially now that it’s getting darker and colder and we’re going to be stuck inside more.

I had no photo sessions this weekend but I’m making up for it with 4 in the next 6 days and I’m crossing my fingers SO HARD that the weather stays nice. I’m hoping to get some of our personal photos sorted and (minorly) edited and shared too, since my family starts to get mad if there aren’t enough gingers on the blog. MOAR GINGERS SOON, I promise.

My Week(115) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, January 12th, 2013

Like I said on Monday, there was a lot of couch-and-tv time this week. When I go back through my photos and SEE it I always feel worse than when it’s actually happening – because when it’s happening I’m relaxing on the couch, so I don’t care. I think my goal for next week will be to leave the house with the kids every day, even if it is just to run out for more clementines (srsly, we go through a box every two days).

Bag lady

Fashion statement

Aladdin was a hit with the kids

The kids discovered tins make excellent drums…

…and for some reason Caroline learned to plug her ears. Weird.

Tandem relaxation

Mommy this is my rocket ship and I am going to blast off forever so good bye!

Snappy our turtle friend

Very proud of the bird feeder he made at school

I managed to sort out enough of my old clothes to fill just ONE of the green tubs. It’s depressing to remember how cute I dressed in college.

Busted by a toddler with an iPhone

Bath time fun

Lazy Caroline was still asleep when it was time to take Evan to school

Posing for my picture

She undressed herself then sat in the timeout chair for 20 minutes. I have no idea why.

Super weirdos.

More weirdos.

My little fox was annoyed we weren’t getting to the “an-mals” faster

I love them

Practicing her swimming

Pst, are we friends on Instagram? I tend to post my best iPhone photos over there because I can’t wait until Saturdays to share them but I hate to repeat them here in case people get bored. My user name is “bebehblog” and I promise I post very few photos of my own face.

My birthday week is ending tonight with a husband-acquired babysitter and a viewing of The Hunger Games in an actual theater, which might seem lame but is pretty much the best thing ever. The weather today was amazing and is supposed to be even MORE amazing tomorrow so it’s easy to avoid looking at the piles of laundry and dishes I’m supposed to be doing by staying outside.

We're letting him practice with the toy mower now so we can put him to work for real when he's 4

Yoga: Yur doin it rong.

Lazy baby slept until 8:15

Practicing our kissy faces

The jets in the tub turn a bubble bath into a BUBBLE BATH

My birthday present was a baby who refused to wear clothes

I took a birthday nap. Sort of.

Purple roses from my sweetie

Crafty like a fox

These are all gone now

Couch naps have turned into floor naps

Poor feverish baby slept late

Toy box nap? Weirdos.

Single-parent bedtime means sometimes you carry a naked toddler on your shoulders

This is actually her happy face

Chalk & toes

Outside is the BEST side

Hmmm, maybe the peanut shells really aren't for eating

Practicing his slapshot

I enjoyed the sunshine for exactly 6 minutes before I felt my skin starting to fry.

Now I’m going to go re-pink-ify my hair and take a nap so I don’t fall asleep half way through the movie tonight. Happy weekend!

My Week(68) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, February 18th, 2012

Although my week here was fine, I spent a good part of it too wrapped up in being sad about a far-away-friend’s tragedy to focus on anything. Don’t let anyone tell you internet friendships aren’t as real as any other friendships.

Too bad he can't ACTUALLY make any donuts

I wonder where Evan is hiding? I can't fnd him!

Caroline's room makes me happy

Hey Mom, he's sleeping. Got a Sharpie?

Practicing her "embarrassed teenager" face

Look Mommy! Baby thirsty!

Trying to get a Valentine playgroup photo

Caroline ditched the candy to eat an entire tub of watermelon

Hide & Seek at the yarn store

The train table at the library was trashed, so I, uh, HELPED the kids set up a new track. Or maybe I ignored them and did it all myself.

New morning routine: let Evan play iPad for half an hour while I relax. It's like a snooze button for my kid.

Playing in the foam pit at gymnastics

Couch nap for the boy who insists he doesn't need naps anymore

He also insists he doesn't need pajamas. Oh toddlers.

Window shopping at the toy store

Broccoli? WTF Mom?

Trying to look angelic, right before he splashes half the water out of the tub

Caroline has decided she has a moral objection to shirts

I escaped to run errands alone and celebrated with the world's largest iced coffee

Right now it looks like E is getting a 3-day weekend (although it’s the Navy, who the hell knows if that’ll actually happen) so hopefully it will be a good chance to recharge. We’ve got a DVR full of stuff we haven’t seen, tons of laundry to catch up on and a 3rd birthday party to attend. I hope your weekend is fun of family, friends and fun too!

My Week(61) in iPhone Photos

Saturday, December 31st, 2011

I sort of can’t believe that Christmas was only a week ago. I guess sitting around my house eating junk and avoiding all responsibility makes time pass faster than I thought. It also makes for a pretty boring week in iPhone photos.

Awesome baby gifts from Africa from Aunt Carolyn

Christmas Day nap happens before you even change out of your Christmas PJ's

The giant plate of cookies is approximately 2% of the total desserts at my friend Erin's open house

I did NOT buy these at Nordstrom Rack...but I sort of regret it

Watching Toy Story again. Again. Again. Again. AGAIN.

Somone is a little skeptical of how curious George exactly is.

What do you MEAN this is the only picture you took all day?

I think he's judging my jumping jacks (which were admittedly pretty pathetic).

Sure, Mom, just GIVE me to random people at the store.

Sad post Christmas living room

Did you say we're getting CHEESE STICKS???

12 month well-baby is pissed about the shots

Stole her brother's lunch and made a deli-meat MESS

Exhausted baby and her Christmas moose

Driving-thru for some pink eye medicine for one goopy-eyed toddler

Trying to trick me into letting her stay up with adorable PJ's and trains. It's working.

My new bathing suit is so awesome, I'm posting a picture of myself in it ON THE INTERNET.

Jeeze Lady, don't you know how unsafe this is???

The Lion King was kind of WAY scarier/sadder than I remembered, but Evan still liked it...sort of kind of.

It’s the last iPhone week of 2011! These are pretty much the only posts I can be relied on to write so I hope you’re not sick of them yet. More adorable kids, stupid self portraits and shots of my daily life in 2012!
