My Week(67) in iPhone Photos

It was a good week! We had a lot of adventures, made some progress in the sleep department (going to bed at 9 pm helps), and it’s ending with cake and a date for E’s birthday.

Sunday:

I bought some Jason Wu at Target - one of these days I might even WEAR it

Lazy toddler is lazy

I brought my knitting to a Super Bowl party. I'm so cool.

Monday:

15 Weight Watcher's points. Totally worth it.

I am amazed at how quickly she fell in love with this seahorse

I'd call her a genius artist, but she keeps trying to draw with the wrong end.

Birthday crafting has begun! I got all 45 flags made this week.

Tuesday:

Beeyotch, don't be lookin' at my grapes.

Car naps FTW

Nice healthy dinner, until I ate like FIVE portions.

Wednesday:

Still having mixed feelings about gymnastics

Oh hey, whatcha got? Can I see it? Can I can I?

Adorable toddler photo opp ruined by my lazy housekeeping

Thursday:

Library turtle! Meaning a turtle at the library, not some sort of special species

The entire top floor of our town library is for kids. I feel like a total idiot for not going sooner.

Library train table. I'm surprised I EVER got Evan to leave.

I'd actually been in bed for at least half an hour when I took this. My life is so exciting.

Friday:

Evan and T sharing a hiding spot

Smug elevator face

This look is called "The Lazy Mother's Smock"

Sometimes, everyone gets along

Saturday:

I'd like to speak to a manager about this restaurant - there's a weird guy lurking in the corner

Someone was a little confused about whose birthday it actually is

Do I LOOK like I'm enjoying this, Mother?

I am a wee bit overexcited about tonight, because E and I are going OUT with NO KIDS because I found a baby sitter. We’re actually paying her an obscene amount of money to just be in the house – we’re not leaving until we put the kids to bed so they won’t even know we’re gone. It’s too bad we don’t live in the 1950’s when we could have just locked the door and told the neighbor to call the fire department if it looked like the house was burning down. Then we could afford to play a few more hands of blackjack tonight. Child endangerment what?

Did you take any camera phone photos this week? Link up with one or lots using the linky below and grab the code (so it shows on your blog too!) over at Amy’s . It’s really fun!

Oooh, what’s Evan making in the egg roll wrapper on Wednesday?

    • bebehblog says:

He helped make tiny, child-friendly plain chicken and American cheese rolls because the grown ups were having spicy buffalo chicken and blue cheese roll ups. He still didn’t eat them though.

Your weekly pictures give me hope about getting things done when I have two kids. Hope you have fun on your date night tonight!

You’ll do great! It takes a while to adjust but now I barely even notice. Unless they’re running in different directions.

  5. My son loves the train table at the library. Have fun tonight!!

Advice on the “obscene amount of money” for sitter. Have different rate sitters available for your needs. We have a 22 year old girl, who is AMAZING – love her to pieces, and PAY HER A FORTUNE! We use her for anything that requires some real effort, bedtimes, car rides, extended daytime (no-nap hours). Then we have a teenager who is very very sweet, but we use her for a little less, shorter hours, and rarely bedtimes. Finally we have a neighbor who has a 14 year old girl. If O. is asleep by the time we go out we use her because her Mom stays home when she babysits just in case. Its a win win for both of us Moms, her daughter gets to make a little money, and we get to go out for a little less – knowing her Mom is a house away. :) I hope you enjoyed your date!!!!

I really really really need to talk to my neighbor – she has a teenage daughter and I’ve been meaning to ask her to babysit for, uh three full years now.

Just ask!! What is really scary after re-reading my post is in a few short (10 years).. I will be the Mom that stays home “just in case”. Your Jeggings looked (insert profanity not appropriate for baby blog) AWESOME! Rock it.

I just begged my mom to get me a Jason Wu and mail it once we have a legit address. So cute, you should wear it whenever you want, looks great. Glad to see you got a babysitter, and have a night off!

That dress is adorable on you!
Also we do the same ridiculousness with the sitter. It makes me feel more at ease and able to enjoy the night all while she plays on Facebook and eats our food.
    Good times!

    Hope you had fun!
