My Week(15) in iPhone Photos

Sunday:

We all spent some time on our laptops

And watched the Superbowl. Little Evan wasn't so sure about the half-time show. My (unpopular) opinion was it was way better than the last few years.

Monday:

We played a little 7 am pajama hockey

And we made it back to Stroller Strides for the first time since I had Caroline!

I had an OB appointment across from where I used to work. Doesn't it look super depressing? Makes me glad I don't have to go there anymore.

Tuesday:

We made it to Stroller Strides AGAIN! No one tell Little Evan these things move if you put money in, OK?

It wouldn't be a weekly round-up without a lying-on-the-dog picture.

Wednesday:

Stroller Strides! Aren't you totally in love with that blanket? It's Bird E Studios (@simplerika on Twitter). I won a credit to her shop & this is what I ordered.

3 days of Stroller Strides really wore me out, so we had a little lie-down during Evan's naptime.

At the yarn shop for Knit Night. I did almost no knitting because of a cranky baby but it was nice to socialize.

Thursday:

Skipped SS for some Target shopping for E's birthday present. That toy Evan is holding has enterained him for 3 full days.

Fuzzy hat!

I had a very productive nap time, making tutus...

...and doing a little knitting.

Friday:

Play time with Friend A after Stroller Strides.

Adorable onesie made by the adorable @lifeversiontwo

Sushi + antsy toddler = HUGE mess. It wasn't a very relaxing meal but it was delicious.

Saturday:

Westerly, RI. I took Caroline down for some photos with Kade (who did our family maternity shoot) but she screamed the WHOLE time.

Car window shot of Foxwoods Casino - I drive past on my way to RI. I miss the days when we were cool enough to go there.

McDonald's made their milkshakes all fancy. But they taste the same.

E enjoying his new Kinect. It takes pictures of you while you play. That you can put online, say, perhaps on a blog.

Did you count? That was FOUR days at Stroller Strides. I could barely walk by the evenings but felt good enough to go again the mornings. I WILL be able to do more than zero sit-ups by the end of March.

Did you take any camera phone photos this week? Link up with one or lots using the linky below and grab the code (so it shows on your blog too!) over at Amy’s. It’s really fun!

I too thought the half time show was way better than recent years. My only complaint is that it was very ADD. They didnt stay on a single song long. And if kinect picture happened to find their way on a certain blog, that would be awesome.

Your Target looks so bright and shiny. I must know what toy entertains a toddler for 3 days! And Caroline has the sweetest little sleepy face ever :)

This is the new Target, the one with the Starbucks. It is ALWAYS empty and ALWAYS super clean. Their zone is fantastic. Also, “zone” is the word for getting everything straight on the shelves. Can you tell I used to work there.

  3. I love that blanket. And great job on the multiple visits to SS! YAY YOU!

  4. can someone please explain to me what the heck stroller strides is? I know amy @ a good life does it too.. I didn’t know they did it here in connecticut… oh and p.s. I cannot believe how much caroline has grown.. and evan and the dog? afreakingdorable.

I MUST have a robot onesie! We have a bit of a robot obsession at our house! Happy E likes the Kinect. Brandon hasn’t played with it much but Maddie is obsessed! And that is the biggest sock monkey I have ever seen.

The picture of Caroline with the lovely blanket is beautiful! It looks like a painting….

All your raving about stroller strides made me look it up for Chicago but they are all during the week. Boo. I could use a good ass kicking sometime after May. Also, Calder would agree with your halftime assessment though he mostly enjoyed it because of Usher. He gets OMG mixed up with the Chelsey Dagger song they play at hockey games when the Blackhawks score.

RE: situps– have you ever done vertical crunches? Basically, you stand up with your right arm raised, then you bring your right knee up and bring your right elbow down until they touch around your midsection. Do about 25 times, then switch to your left side. Or you can do shorter sets. They work your core muscles/abdominals without putting as much strain on your back as sit ups/crunches can do.

OMG that milkshake…and I’m impressed with your baby napping / knitting skillz. I was never organized enough to have yarn or even a book close enough when O would fall asleep. It’s kind of no wonder that I spent the early months of his life wondering if I would survive…

Also, your kids are SO DAMN CUTE. Which I know I say often. But it’s true.

  10. Wendy says:

First of all, your babies are gorgeous! Little Caroline reminds me so much of my Hannah at that age.

Great job making it to stroller strides. You are waaay better than me in the working out department.

Damn you & your overzealous exercise making us all look bad! Good work! & Hudson JUST got the same laptop the Baby E has as a late birthday gift. Did you program it yet? Hudson flips OUT when the computer says his name or he gets an email from Auntie Sarah or Mommy! Such a fun little toy!

I entertained my friends this evening at my annual February Sucks party with stories about how Rabbit is a psychotic torturer and how I want Brutus to come live with me. Hello Brutus!

  13. Cole says:

Holy huge sock monkey! That thing is awesome!
