I met the adorable and charming Gussy (given name Maggie, but I’m not even going to pretend I’ve ever called her that) at The Creative Connection and after two days of stalking her and hanging around her booth she gave me a zipped pouch, probably so I would go away.

This weekend is baby monster’s second time treak or treating and the first where she’s going to toddle and carry her own bucket! I. am. so. freaking. excited!!!
My favorite halloween candy is kitkats…. Mmmm. If baby monster gets any, I’m almost positive they’ll all be ‘contaminated’ and mommy will have to ‘comfiscate’ them. BAH!

Your hair? Gorgeous. My hair? pretty. This weekend I’m babysitting & being kinda lame because last weekend was enough excitement for the semester. I have a huge bag of Resses in my frige. mmmm & lastly? I LOVE everything gussy. I really like the laptop case though.
I am playing single mom this weekend…we were going to go to the aquarium, but then I realized it was some Halloween fish-tacular and there would probably a million people…so I don’t know what we are doing now.
As far as the hair goes…well, I cut all mine off. All. It’s very polarizing…love it or hate it…all I know is my life is a LOT easier.
My hair looks like a rabid badger nested in it.

This weekend: I think I taught Cora how to open containers so she can pull out her sesame street flashcards on her own and I can just sit here. Unfortunately, I think it will only lead to more destruction. Which in the end means MORE work for me. Hmm.

The wristlets on Gussy’s site are really cute. We’re going to a childrens Halloween parade tomorrow dressed as a pirate family, my husband asked if I wanted to get a bay sitter and go out afterwards and I’m such a boring old person now I was said no because I didn’t want to deal with the drunken crowds in the city. I’d rather sit home, eat mini reeses peanut butter cups (my fav!!) and watch horror movies.
That is adorable. I am spending the halloween weekend prepare to return to work after my first baby maternity leave.. UGHHHH can this weekend last FOREVER!

I just got done trick or treating with the kiddo, ate a huge amount of pizza and now relaxing on the couch. Ev was a peacock for Halloween! Also…no joke…I had no less than 5 grown ass adults come to my door and say trick or treat, holding a bag…with no kid in sight.

Talking about hair…I had a horrible cut about 6 weeks ago, that has now grown out to something I can live with…that sounds bad, but now it really is ok. I do so love Gussy and her headbands and her lovely products (and new stockings!) I would love to win!

I love the Gussy girls kids tote. So cute. My favorite candy for Halloween would be dots or gum. My girls did not get but 2 pieces this year. Probably better though.
Your hair looks great! Of course, so does mine, being at the perfect stage where the pixie cut is just growing out a bit but isn’t too long yet, so I can wait another week or two before having it cut again.

Just in case I didn’t say “pretty” often enough in this post, I’ll also tell you that I made pumpkin pie from scratch last weekend and ate candy corn. So wrong but so delicious.
Gorgeous! I love little pouches like that for keeping the little knitting accessories I need for EVERY knitting project together. Plus, then I can swap them between the-I don’t know-five different knitting projects I’m working on at any one time.
Maybe someday I’ll learn to sew… until then I’ll ohh and ahh over all these adorable items
