A little more, for those who are curious:
I am Suzanne, age 35, a New England native who was raising in a military family and then married into one as well. My husband Evan is a Senior Chief in the Navy. We met while I was at college getting my degree in underwater basket weaving communications at the College of Charleston in South Carolina and he was going through training to run nuclear reactors. No, he does not glow in the dark. After a couple of transfers, we ended up in Eastern Connecticut where we got a dog, a Jeep Cherokee, and a house. Once we ran out of grown-up things to buy we decided it was about time to work on the bebehs. Now we share our 100+-year old Craftsman house with our children Evan III, Caroline, Lincoln and Finnegan; our dog Brutus; our cat, Blushes; about a million baby toys and several pounds of pet hair. I’m giving the SAHM thing a try – part desire, part necessity – and I use this blog as my own personal soapbox and brag book. In the fall of 2013 I launched my photography business, Ginger Snaps Pictures and now I work part time (although it feels like full time in the fall!) as a photographer. I specialize in lifestyle and family photography and this blog has become mostly a photo album of our own adventures.

Camera info (since I often look for this on other people’s sites):
Until November 2012 I shot with a Nikon D90, upgraded to a Nikon D7000 in December 2012, switched to full frame in 2014 (first on a D600 now on a D610). I sold my 600 recently and now shoot with a Nikon D750 for digital and an N80 I bought on Ebay for film.
